課程概述

由抵抗帝國主義到反權威中心，後殖民理論結合性別、種族、階級等論述，由許多不同的批評觀點所組成。透過閱讀與觀看非洲、印度、美洲等殖民與被殖民國家的小說、戲劇與電影作品，我們可以看出去殖民過程中的心路歷程，亦可進一步思索比較台灣是否也經歷類似的情境。本課程並進一步結合介紹重要的後殖民理論，讓同學在閱讀類似的文藝作品時，也有理論基礎可加以利用分析。

課程目標

本課程介紹主要的後殖民批評理論，同時也閱讀檢視相關的小說、劇本與電影，以論文與藝文作品交互研讀討論的方式，深化同學對於後殖民評論的理解。課程最後並會帶入台灣的後殖民文化脈絡，引導同學應用理論與思考本地的後殖民情境。

課程要求

同學需要預習當週的指定讀物，並在課堂上積極參與討論。
